Through my counselling experience to date, I have worked with many different issues with clients. During my early years as a therapist, I gained extensive experience working with client survivors of domestic abuse and clients with eating disorders. In recent years my work has varied and I now work extensively with issues around anxiety, self-confidence and parts of self. As an integrative counsellor I am able to use various techniques from different models of counselling. I believe that together we can establish the best ways of working for you.
Below is a list of some of the issues I regularly work with:
My role is not to judge you, make you feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or ashamed. I am here to help ease your burden and help you find better ways of dealing with your issues, thoughts, and self-belief. We cannot change the past or what has gone before. However, if it is having a negative impact on you, we can try to find new ways of coping that will suit you.
Depending on your reason for therapy the length of our work together will differ greatly. I am willing and able to go through the process with you, whether it is short term or long term. I am a very focused therapist and am committed to my work. My clients are always my priority. We can work together for change and healing
